We are delighted to welcome London Assembly Member, Cllr Alessandro Georgiou AM, as our guest speaker at our April networking event. Alessandro will be speaking about the GLA's approach to business growth and the use of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund in London. NLCCE Members have priority booking for this event - please click the link below to register. Cllr Georgiou has served on Enfield Council since 2014. In 2022 he was elected Leader of the Opposition and Conservative Group. During the 2024 Mayoral and GLA elections Alessandro was elected as a Londonwide Member of the London Assembly and serves on the Economy, Budget and Performance and Oversight Committees. His responsibilities for 2024 - 2025 include: - Deputy Chair of the Economy, Culture and Skills Committee
- Member of the Budget and Performance Committee
- Member of the GLA Oversight Committee
